Monday 25th April

Electric Cars

Clear Introduction. Well planned & relevant.

Attitude & body language: Jaber good, with loud, clear exposition; Abdulaziz rather quiet, contributed little to oral presentation.

Visuals: graphics good, colourful; animation very good.

Anwar Mutar, H00161004 & Mohd Al Zaabi, 200029993

Satellites

Well planned & relevant.

Attitude & body language: both good, confident presenters; Mohd played relatively minor role in oral presentation.

Visuals: as well as slides, 3 short video clips showing rocket launches & satellite positioning/orbiting in space. Lots of text in early slides. Some spelling errors e.g. satellite lunch.

Well planned & relevant.

Attitude & body language: very positive.

Visuals: very good.

Fielding of questions: excellent.

Expats in the UAE

Generally well planned & organised. Hasan Abdulla dealt with positives, Hasan Jassim with negatives.

Attitude & body language: both good, positive.

Visuals: good. Some spelling & syntactical mistakes, e.g. Contaxt, Employment of Foreign Affairs.

Fielding of questions: very good; a lively discussion followed the presentation.

Touch Screens

Well planned & relevant.

Attitude & body language: Mohsen good; Mohd satisfactory, but tendency to read from slides.

Visuals: good. More graphic in Mohsen's part of the presentation. Accurate text.

Fielding questions: Mohsen good, Mohd OK.

Content and planning: excellent. Good introduction: size & weight, colours, capacity, display etc.

Loud, clear delivery.

Slides & text on slides: excellent.

Questions handled well.

Well planned & organised.

Attitude & body language: both excellent.

Visuals: excellent. Text on slides accurate. Both struggled a little with pronunciation of a few words, e.g. occur.

Parking problems in AD

Content & planning: excellent.

Excellent slides: all very appropriate & relevant. 1 rogue apostrophe was sole grammatical error.

Body language & attitude: Ibrahim very good, Mohd rather quiet.

Fielding questions: excellent.

Robots

Well planned: definition, history, future of robotics.

Body language & attitude: Jassim excellent & offered good support to partner; Salim good, but tendency to look straight at me, rather than rest of audience.

Visuals & fielding of questions: excellent.
